double dare 2000

I would love to be on double dare 2000, i don't think this show comes on any more but when i was younger it was one of my favorite shows. the show would have two teams, the red and blue team. each team would have five people and each person had to answer questions about nickelodeon shows  and video games, if they got it wrong they would be slimmed. there were also parts of the game that were more physical like for certain questions you would have to go through obstacles, or one person from the blue team, and one person from the red team would have to see who can make a human banana split the fastest.

my room

The best thing about my house is my room. i love my room because its so unique and unlike any other room I've ever seen. i painted all over on my walls, not too many people can say that they're parents allowed them to paint on the walls and draw all over the walls. my room is blue with a whole bunch of cartoon characters on the wall. i have sand colored carpet and its covered with little tiny paintbrush strokes of paint on it. My carpet somewhat looks like a piece of confetti cake. My door is also decorated with little flowers and my name. However my room may be the best thing about my home becausee its unique, but during the summertime its the worst room ever, there is never a breeze in my room, its like the heat just gets trapped in my room and never leaves. I open the windows in my room but all you feel is hot air blowing.
If I had to work at a football stadium, I would be the person who walks around in the stands and sells hot dogs, and candy. While on the job I would most likely eat two or three hot dogs, and only one candybar or one thinkg of blueberry twizzlers. i would walk around in the stands and shout "HOT DOG get your HOT DOGS, 1.00 1.00 HOT DOGS". I would also shout "CANDY get your CANDY HERE!" I would try not to eat all my supplies but i would be in the hot heated sun so i think i would at least have to eat one thing of starburst or some type of candy. I wouldnt have chocolate either, because its always hot at games and i would hate  for my product to melt all over me or all over the other products.

thirteen

I was thirteen years old and i was attending junior high.Back then I couldn't drive and now I can drive. Also I couldn't cook very well back then but now I'm the best cook in my house.besides that not much has changed, like most of the things that i couldn't do dealt with driving. Everything has pretty much stayed the same since i was thirteen years old, so i actually don't know what else to write for this prompt.

Monkey?

I think a monkey would be the worst pet. Monkeys are cute, however they are extremely violent, there are too many stories about how a pet owner decided to take in an exotic animal for a pet, being the monkey. The pet owner always gets clawed to death or the monkey simply goes nuts and attacks the person that once fed it. Monkeys are neat but primitive animals, they have opposable thumbs unlike most animals. However they will use those opposable thumbs to gauge the owners eyes out. Monkeys are bad for pets, they are wild animals, why would anyone who has a brain want to take a animal out of the wild and try and treat it like a domestic animal? Thats unsafe and wrong.

youngest

The youngest person i know is my younger brother who is thirteen years old. He is by far the smartest thirteen year old you would ever meet. He loves animals, and any educational television show about animals. When he grows up he has dreams of becoming a zoologist. He definitely marches to the beat of his own drum, he doesn't allow any one's influence to dominate his personality. He isn't the type of person that would give into peer pressure. He is also very funny, and witty. He loves making jokes, even if they are sometimes somewhat corny, and lame. He of course laughs at his jokes. He speaks his mind and anything that comes to it, he doesn't allow people to tell him to be quiet, if he has a strong opinion about something there's no way anyone can stop him from expressing it. He loves playing video games and is  a little bit better than me when it comes to the games on the Wii. He also loves to draw, he draws several animae cartoons, and creates fantasy characters.

Oldest

The oldest person i know is my grandfather he is eighty -one years old. He is very witty, and smart when it comes to mathematics. He is an Aquarius. He use to be in the army, and he also use to run his own real-estate business. He was born in Texas, and moved to California when he was sixteen years old. He of course has traveled, because he was in the army, so hes been to China and Europe. He got married in his twenties, and had two children. He had a son, and a daughter, who is my mother. My grandfather loves to play dominoes with his friends and watch golf. He loves tiger woods and thinks he is by far the best golf player. My grandfather is extremely smart, and isn't one to let anyone take advantage of him.

Painting the Walls

My parents actually do allow me to paint on my walls.I've been painting on my walls ever since I was in sixth grade. I've painted pictures of cartoons such as Tigger, Mandark from Dexters Labratory, the Cheshire cat from Alice and Wonderland, Spongebob, Bart Simpson, Scooby Doo and other cartoons. I've also painted my name on the walls in huge bubble letters, as well as tranqulity, and harmony in chinese. I love painting on my walls it allows me to express myself. Lately I've been painting a pot of flowers on my wall.
There was once a bat by the the name of "Big AL". Big AL, was only three years old in bat years when he lost both of his wings. He was just hanging on the top of his own cave, and two little children came in and attacked him with rocks, knocking both of his wings off. Big AL began to squeal in pain, and he knew he would never be able to fly again. He grew older and began to live life without wings. However there were other bats that found it funny that he didn't have wings, they teased Big AL everyday about his tragic incident. His own parents even laughed along with the other children as they teased him about losing both of his wings. One day Big AL grew tired of them talking about him, he waddled into their hangout areas, and bit holes, in the main two bats that had teased him, in their wings. When the bats woke up in shock they were furious to see that Big AL would do such a thing. Big AL explained to them both that he never asked to be attacked by humans, and have his wings taken away, its hard enough to live life without wings, but its even harder having someone remind you, you don't have wings any longer every day. The other bats didn't know their minor teasing really hurt Big ALs feelings. When the morning approached the two bats with holes in their wings realized that they couldn't fly very high, they barely hoovered above the ground. Big AL waddled past the two bats and said " fly away, ha heeheehaa, I guess  we're all in the same boat now".

Kid Cudi

If I could have lunch with any famous person, I would have lunch with Kid Cudi. I would pick Kid Cudi, because I feel he is the best new rapper/singer. I love all of his music and I love his style. Kid Cudi always represents his personality through his music and fashion style. Kid Cudi's, first song, or the song that really made him famous was "Day and Night". Kid Cudi is from Cleveland,Ohio. My favorite songs by him are, "Enter Galactic","Man on the Moon","Cudi Zone", "Soundtrack to My Life", "Cleveland is the Reason" and of course "Day and Night". I would ask him, what made him want to become a rapper/singer, I would also ask him if he ever thought about doing anything else with his life? I would also talk to him about how hard it was for him to break into the music industry. I would talk to him about where he gets his inspiration from, for all of his songs. If I could have lunch with another famous person I would have lunch with Mos def. I this Mos Def is a great rapper, because his lyrics always have a meaning. My favorite songs by Mos Def, are his first few songs when he and Talib Kweli were together, and when they were known as "Blackstar". The songs that they created always had a deep meaning, like "Thieves in the Night", "Auditorium", and "Definition". Mos Def has had a great career as a rapper and an actor. I would talk to him about where he received his inspiration for his songs, and which career does he prefer, acting or rapping?

Brothers

I have two brothers, one is thirteen years old, the other is twenty-two years old. My youngest brothers name is Derek  Jr. and our family always calls him DJ. My older brothers name is Michael and he is a college student at the University of Wisconsin. Michael was born February,17,1988 and my younger brother was born May,13,1997.Michael is very funny and athletic. DJ is really smart and also really funny. `My older brother wants to be a lawyer when he gets older and plans to go to law school. My younger brother wants to be a zoologist. he loves animals, but not just domestic animals but wild animals, and exotic animals. His favorite animal is a Dragon.

My pet

If I could have any pet in the world I would love to have a panda bear. I think panda bears are so cute, and so nice looking. I love the fact that they're black and white. However,  I know that they are an endangered species now, but I would definitely feel like a lucky girl if I had a panda. I would name my panda Pangy. Every morning I would take Pangy out for a walk, and maybe when he/she got older I would ride him/her like a horse. I would get a huge supply of bamboo stick, because pandas love bamboo. I would also feed Pangy carrot sticks, give her water, and milk, to wash it  all down. I would have a certain area outside only for Pangy, where he/she would poop, sleep, or play around. Pangy would be peaceful, and wouldn't harm anyone, Pangy wouldn't attack anyone unless I said to attack them. Pangy would sleep in my room occasionally when he/she was on her best behavior, Pangy would also be extremely friendly to all my friends, and all the people I was friendly with.
Swish !Whoosh! Crash! These were the only noises I could hear that night. Harry was sleeping on the bunk on top of mines, and sometimes I could hear a creaking noise coming from the wooden floors of the ship at night, which sometimes disturbed me from sleeping. We're supposed to be reaching a land where we will retrieve unlimited resources. Harry, and Jeffrey are my shipmates, they are your typical pirates. They look exactly like the ones you see on television. Harry has a dirty white t-shirt  with small rips, and tears on the front, with a wooden leg, and he talks funny, but that's because he has a lisp. Jeffrey wears this navy blue stripe shirt all day long, and always talks about this woman he fell in love with, every time he gets drunk, half the things he says I'm unsure if its true, or if there ever really was a "Lola". Jeffrey lately has been wearing one those old fashion pirate eye patches, however he has pink eye, that dirty bastard always has something wrong with his eye. I wasn't always a bad talking, drunken pirate. You see I started out in a small town, but my mother didn't have enough money for me, and my siblings, so the oldest had to go, hence me. I roamed the world searching for places to fit in, and the only place I ever fit in was this dirty ole ship. Today has finally arrived and the sun is is bright, this is the best part about being a pirate, waking up to a beautiful scenery, with the  flowing water swaying you back and forth, with the sun caressing the side of your face. Its a typical day for us pirates, wake up dive into the arms of the ocean, climb back on the ship, dry off, drink, eat, drink, sleep, and drink some more. These men on this ship have become my brothers, I wouldn't ever leave this ship. Jeff always talks about how "Lola" offered him to either stay with her, in her native town, or leave and go back to that crummy ship, as she phrased it. Jeff explained to her how he never had a real job, hes only known how to be a pirate, and that's the only thing he ever wanted to do. I don't know what I would do if I was faced with picking between love or staying with my "so-called" family. This ship is my home  I cant picture myself anywhere else but here.

My Fear

My fear is not living up to my fullest potential. I would hate to not give my all into any situation. I  fear choosing a career that I'm not truly passionate about. I would never want to spend the rest of my life doing something I didn't enjoy. I fear becoming homeless. I am so grateful for the things, and the people that I have in my life.I would hate to have everything taken away from me especially the little things in life that we sometimes take for granted, such as a bed, or family. To wake up, and realize that you no longer have a way to support yourself, would scare me. I am afraid of having a slow and painful death, I would much rather my death be abrupt and fast. I would dread having to sit in a hospital bed, for day, or weeks with a long drawn out illness that is simply going to kill me in the end, I would rather just go abruptly. My ultimate fear is succeeding and failing. I'm afraid to be successful because when your successful, you've worked so hard to hold onto that success it would devastate anyone to loose it. I feel that the climb up toward success is hard enough, but to fall back to square one from success is a risk not worth taking. It would tear me apart to climb the highest mountain, finally reach it,and discover something that will knock me down again.

Restauraunt

If I ever opened a restaurant up I would name it Destiny. The restaurant would serve all types of food, and would give young people a place to work. I wouldn't hire any adults, because several young people need jobs, and because the recession is so bad the adults begin to take all the jobs teenagers use to instantly be hired at. I would serve food such as, enchiladas, rice, beans, nachos, guacamole, steak, fried chicken, collard greens, dirty rice, plantains, jerk chicken, neck bones, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries, orange chicken, noodles, spaghetti, egg rolls, and even sandwiches. My restaurant would exude a zen, and tranquil mood. It would be red, blue, and orange on the inside with a golden lighting.

Charlie

September, 14, 2010. That was the day I woke up, and discovered something so miraculous, someone so amazing. I discovered Charlie, the dinosaur. It started out like an ordinary day, I woke up to my hello kitty alarm clock at 7:00. It was a bright morning, the sun was huge.I got out of bed and stretched my arms to the ceiling, I heard a rustling of leaves in my backyard. I don't have any dogs or cats so of course my first instinct was to look to see what was outside. That's when I noticed it, a  Tyrannosaurus Rex, as tall as my twelve foot tree. Our eyes locked for a second, I was very hesitant at first, as well as shocked and amazed to see a LIVING dinosaur. The dinosaur looked surprise to see me as well, he moved back, and stood behind the tree, to hide himself, which was of course hard to do, because of his huge butt. It didn't seem as if he would harm me because he seemed so afraid that I would harm him. I grabbed a few grapes leading Charlie to me. Earning my trust, the dinosaur cautiously came towards me, and smelled my hands. I touched the dinosaurs scaly skin, and looked into his black eyes. He knelt down beside me, and began to lick my hands, it was then that I realized he, and I would become friends soon. So the hard part began to make its approach, picking a name for him. I tried calling him"Sam", and something in his eyes looked displeased. Next, I attempted to call him "Harry", and he looked at me in total shock, and still seemed displeased. Lastly I called him"Charlie",   and he seemed pleased with that name. The day I discovered the "so-called" extinct animal in my backyard was the day I realized nothing was impossible.

The Ultimate Meal

If I had to create any meal for my family I would attempt to BarbeQ for them and make polish boys for them. A  polish boy is simply a hot link wrapped in a hot dog bun, covered in french fries and cold slaw  and drenched in barbeQ sauce. I would put seasoning salt over the huge slab of beef ribs, because my family doesn't eat pork. I would also buy a pack of chicken wings, beef hot dogs, and hot links. I would also put seasoning salt  on the chicken wings.  For a side dish and for the polish boys I would make french fries, and cold slaw. Last but not least, to wash this delicious meal down I would make Ice tea or Lemonade.

A Time I had to be Brave

There haven't been too many times that I've ever had to be seriously brave. I know I will eventually have to be brave, because I want to attend an out of state school. I really want to get a chance to break out of my comfortable environment. Moving out of California would give me a chance to definitely experience change. Staying in California simply wouldn't allow me to honestly experience change the way I wish to. I come from a family of five, and going on my own will be hard, because I'm so use to having my brothers around, but I know it will be worth it in the end. It will give me the chance to really expand my comfort zone, and be in a more diverse environment. I also believe that going away for college will make a person more independent and reliable. I want going to college to be an experience that will transform me, and I don't feel, I will transform, and become the best person I can be, if I stay in California for college. I have nothing against California, I did a lot of my growing up here, and it simply feels like I'm beginning to approach that point in my life, where I know things should really change.I don't want a simple nor small change, I want something big, and drastic something that will affect me for the rest of my life.

If I Had One Hundred Dollars...

If I had one hundred dollars I would split it up amongst my two brothers. They deserve the money more than anyone in my life right now. My youngest brother, even though he is still every young, he is by far the smartest kid you'll ever meet, he is the unique genius. He doesn't care about what anyone thinks, and definitely marches to the beat of his own drum. He knows a few facts about any topic you could possibly think of, however the topic he is most knowledgeable about is animals. I would trust his judgement, and have faith that he would spend his half of the money on something valuable. Nonetheless it would be a huge disappointment if he were to spend the money on video games. My older brother is somewhat similar, knowing a few facts about any topic. My oldest brother is somewhat of "the all-American" guy. His athletic ability is outrageously great, and he always makes sure he does good in school. He received a scholarship for college. In ways, I envy him, and my youngest brother for their unlimited knowledge level, and great sense of humor. However there is no one present in my life who deserves the money more than them. I would have the greatest amount of hope that they would spend the money on something that will in some way enhance their futures.

Do You Remember?

Do you remember a time when you never had to worry?
Do you remember being a little kid and running through the sprinklers during a hot humid day?
Do you remember the day you didn't care about being wrong?
Do you remember a day when you felt free?
Do you remember the moment all your freedom, and care free days slipped away?
Do you remember the second you realized everything would change?
How old were you when you stopped running through the sprinklers or playing hide-and-seek?
Why did life have to change?
Why did your attitude about understanding and knowing that you contained unlimited potential and talent vanish?
Who made life change for you?
Was it that one test that made you realize you weren't as good as you thought?
How did life change so rapidly right before our eyes?

when i wake up

When I wake up I always press the snooze button on my alarm clock. Of course the alarm goes off again after fifteen minutes, and I'm already prepared to press the snooze button again. I know its sad but I honestly think I press the snooze button at least four times in the morning. By the fifth time I'm officially sleep again and can't be awaken by a silly little alarm clock. My mother comes inside my room and finally says WAKE UP! I wake up and finally begin my day. I wash my face, brush my teeth, and take a shower. When I'm in the shower I dread getting out because as soon as I step outside the shower its always freezing cold. After I get out the shower, and face the cold air, I get dressed, unwrap my hair and search for my shoes. It seems like my shoes are always in one of the three areas, either right in front of my bed where they're suppose to be, in the back of my closet, or in my living room. I put my shoes on, and feed my two dogs. The biggest dogs name is Ace and he's a German Shepherd mixed with a Labrador. The other dog is fairly small ,and he's a Jack Russel Terrier, his name is Max.I run back in the house wash my hands and make sure my televisions off. I grab my keys off my bed, lock my front door, get in my car, and go to school.

the house we lived in

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

The house we lived in was the nicest house I've ever lived in in my whole entire life. The house we had, had four bedrooms one for me, my oldest brother, my youngest brother, and my parents. During the winter time the snow would cover our house like a big white blanket. During the fall the leaves changed colors, from boring old green, to cranberry red, pumpkin orange, muddy brown, and corn on the cob yellow. The leaves fell from every tree, and made the grass look so colorful, of course my oldest brother and I got stuck with the job of raking the leaves. I never knew work could be so fun. That house was my ultimate home. My room was designed by my mother. She painted at least thirty clouds on the ceiling of my room. The other walls were yellow to represent the sun, and blue, to represent the moon. My bedspread was unbelievably unique. Since the bedspread was reversible, one side was blue with little blue half crescent moons, and tiny yellow stars. The other side was like the midnight sky, covered with silver glitter, to resemble the sparkling stars at night. The backyard was enormous, and covered with healthy grass. In our backyard we had a apple tree that rarely ever grew ripe apples, we had a swing set that everyone in my neighborhood played on, and a basketball court that my dog contiunously ran on. At night the backyard would be lit up by the natural lighting of the many lightening bugs. That house we lived in will always hold a piece of my heart in it.

the first thing i do in the morning is...

The first thing I want in the morning is a full course meal. I want an all white omelet, with mushroom, spinach, onion, and of course shredded cheese. Mushroom honestly taste somewhat like meat, when its cooked in a omelet, or any kind of food. On the side I want three turkey sausages, with just a touch of crispiness on the exterior. What is a full breakfast without wheat toast, no butter, and blackberry jelly. To wash this gracious meal down, I want a glass of orange juice with extra ice in it.
